5.7. Rear mudguard with integrated pannier
stays
The models Heinrich and Hannah are equipped with Wingee mudguards as
standard that can be retrofitted to Oskar.
The horizontal stays of the rear mudguard allow for the use of panniers. Only
use panniers which are suitable for stays with 8 mm diameter and feature a
three-point attachment.
Pay attention to indications of the manufacturer when setting up the
panniers. The lower, third attachment point must be hooked behind the
mudguard stay above the dropout.
Use the self-adhesive frame saver sheets to protect the frame against
abrasion.
The luggage stays have a load capacity of max. 8 kg for
each side!
• Pay attention to use panniers with a stiff back to
avoid spoke contact.
• Do not let anything hang down from the panniers
which might be caught in the spokes of the
moving wheel.
• Do not fit a child seat to the mudguard or the
stays!
• The horizontal stays of the front mudguard are not
meant for panniers or any kind of luggage
transport!
