k) Throttle hold function

In the helicopter programmes, you may choose a throttle hold function. This is activated by the "Throttle Hold" switch
(figure 1, item 14). With "Throttle Hold", you may choose the basic speed (e.g. idle speed for combustion motors) or
"motor off" (for electro dives), which is independent from the position of the pitch control (figure 1, item 7) and thus
enables automatic rotation. In addition to the speed control, all other functions remain fully controllable. You may
program a separate pitch curve for the "Throttle Hold" function. Please also observe the following notes in the chapter
"Set throttle hold pitch curve".
To choose this function, first switch on the transmitter. Press the "UP" and
"DN" buttons at once five times The display shows the screen indicated in
figure 49.
With the buttons "INC" or "DEC", you can adjust the values between -20
and 20. The standard value is 0.
Attention!
Never perform the control/correction of the pitch values for electronic helicopters in a ready to fly state,
because the engine would start up inevitably when actuating the pitch function on the transmitter. Acute
danger of damage to persons and/or assets!
To safely perform these settings without unnecessary programming, we recommend detaching the plug-
type connections between motor and motor speed adjuster. To do so, you should code the respective
contacting pairs with different colours beforehand to relocate them after performing a control/correction
and thus achieve the correct rotational direction of the engine (if the rotational speed is set incorrectly for
brushless motors, just exchange two of the three connections).

l) Gyro setting

Helicopters are often equipped with a gyro. The gyro is meant to compensate for any changes to rotation around the
vertical axis by giving the respective commands to the rear rotor servo. The gyro balances any changes or rotation.
Most gyros also have a "heading look" function in addition to this. In this operating mode, the gyro "maintains" the rear
rotor in position (= look). This function is especially helpful for aerobatics and makes controlling the model much
easier.
You can select between the following three settings using the mixer and the switch "Idle UP" (fig. 1, pos. 8) described
in the following:
