e) Setting the barycentre
Turn the main rotor so that the two rotor blades are parallel to the longitudinal axis of the helicopter.
When the battery is installed, put one finger under each of the rods of the main rotor auxiliary paddles. Now lift the
helicopter. The helicopter must now be balanced horizontally. If this is not the case, move the flight battery.
Ensure that the battery and its cables do not block any movable parts.
When you have determined the centre of gravity, mark the flight battery and the fuselage using a water-resistant pen
(see figure 5, item 6). Thus, when you change the flight battery, you do not have to determine the centre of gravity
again.
Important!
Always measure the centre of gravity with the cabin hood in place.
After determining the exact position for the battery, mark it suitably (figure 5, item 1) so that you do not have to find it
again when you replace the battery after loading.
