REASSEMBLY
The reassembly procedure is the reverse of disassembly.
1. Apply a thin layer of Shimano DURA-ACE grease (or similar general purpose bicycle grease) to the
detents on the inside of the rotary knob.

2. Install the rotary knob into the switch base by fi rst hooking the guide in the switch base into the
rotary knob, then snapping the two parts together.
3. Install the switch onto the handlebar. Using a 2 mm hex wrench, tighten the switch base fi xing bolt to
7.0 in-lb (0.8 N-m) torque.

PRODUCT CARE

• The product components are designed to be fully waterproofed to withstand wet weather riding
conditions. Do not, however, deliberately place them into water.
• Do not use chemical cleaning agents with the iCD product.
• Never use a high pressure washer for cleaning your bicycle and components.
• Avoid high impact shock with any component of the product; handle with care.
• Avoid repeatedly connecting and reconnecting the small waterproof connectors.
• Contact your place of purchase for product software updates. The most up-to-date fi rmware
download is always available via the USB linkage device (an option purchased separately from your
local authorized FOX dealer), and the Shimano website.
