5. FRONT BRAKE MASTER
CYLINDER
A: Lubricate the pivoting parts of
the brake lever.
B: Make sure that the "UP" mark
with the bracket is pointed up-
ward.
C: Align the punch mark on the
handlebar with the gap of the
master cylinder bracket.
D: Tighten the bolts in stages
and maintain an equal gap on
each side of the bracket to
specification.
Bolt:
10 Nm (1.0 m•kg, 7.2 ft•lb)
E: Connect the front brake light
switch connector.
F: Check the brake lever for
smooth action.
Proper cable and hose routing
is essential to assure safe
motorcycle operation.
Refer to "CABLE ROUTING".

6. HANDLEBAR SWITCH
A: Align the projection on the left
handlebar switch with the hole
in the handlebar.
Proper cable routing is essen-
tial to assure safe motorcycle
operation.
Refer to "CABLE ROUTING".
B: Tighten the bolts to specifica-
tion.
Bolt:
3.5 Nm (0.35 m•kg, 2.5 ft•lb)

5. MAITRE-CYLINDRE DE
FREIN AVANT
A: Lubrifier les pivots du levier de
frein.
B: S'assurer que le repère "UP"
(support) est dirigé vers le haut.
C: Aligner le repère du guidon et
l'espace formé par le support du
maître-cylindre.
D: Serrer les boulons au couple spé-
cifié en procédant par étapes et
en veillant à maintenir un écart
identique de chaque côté du sup-
port.
Boulon:
10 Nm (1,0 m•kg, 7,2 ft•lb)
E: Brancher le connecteur du con-
tacteur de feu stop sur frein
avant.
F: S'assurer que le levier de frein
fonctionne correctement.
Un cheminement correct des durits
est indispensable au bon fonction-
nement de la moto.

6. CONTACTEUR A
POIGNEE
A: Aligner la saillie du contacteur à
la poignée gauche et l'orifice du
guidon.
Un cheminement correct
câbles est indispensable au bon
fonctionnement de la moto.
Se reporter à "CHEMINEMENT
DES CABLES".
B: Serrer les boulons au couple spé-
cifié.
Boulon:
3,5 Nm (0,35 m•kg, 2,5 ft•lb)
