Press the button with the arrow downwards together with the unlock button
to lower the vehicle lift.
If any problem situations arise during raising or lowering, release the button
immediately.
When lifting vehicles, use only the jacking points recommended by the vehicle
manufacturer. The vehicle must be supported on all 4 lifting pads at once.
5.2.2.1
Lowering onto the safety locks
For lowering onto the safety locks, press the down button. The vehicle lift
will lower no further than 50 mm, before the drop-safeguard pawls engage in
the ratchet bar. The drop-safeguard pawls can then no longer be released. If
the unlock button is now pressed, there will be no sound of the pawls being
released. First allow the lift to rise again (enough to relieve pressure on the
safety) before the vehicle lift can be lowered further. As a safety measure,
lowering will come to a halt automatically at about 300 mm above the floor.
Pressing both the unlock and down buttons again will cause the vehicle lift to
complete the lowering action, accompanied by an audible alarm.
If the vehicle lift is in the locked safety position (the unlocking pawls do not
work), first press the up button to relieve pressure on the safety locks. Then
press the down button to restart lowering.
Always lower the vehicle lift onto the safety locks before any work is done below
the vehicle.
Leakages or temperature differences can cause the vehicle lift to lower slightly,
so that a single pawl engages in one of the posts, and comes under load.
Pressing the safeguard unlock button will no longer unlock this pawl. First allow
the vehicle lift to rise slightly (max. 50 mm), until the blocked pawl is released.
Lowering can be initiated after this.
