Checking the shear pins on the device
Each time before starting, check to make sure that
the six shear pins (
Replace broken shear pins with original repla-
cement parts. Using unauthorised replacement
parts may cause severe damage to the machine!
There are two replacement shear pins located on
the control panel. See the replacement parts list
when ordering replacements.
Check all controls, safety devices, nuts, screws
and bolts on the machine to make sure that they
are firmly secured and in good condition, and and
that no parts are missing.
Starting the engine

Starting procedure
1. Check the oil and fuel levels.
2. Open the fuel valve (

Switching off the engine
1. Set the throttle to Slow
2. In order to prevent freezing, continue running
the auger and impeller until they are mostly
free of snow.
3. Remove the engine key (

5. Turn the fuel tap to the OFF (closed) position
