Control panel

The is operated by way of the control
headlight tester
panel (with LCD and background illumination).

Explanation of symbols used:
Symbol Function
Key for increasing values.
Key for decreasing values.
Enter key.
For acknowledgement and switching
to next menu item.
ON-OFF key.
Sustained pressing: Switch-on and
switch-off
Brief pressing: Return.
The LEDs indicate the headlamp
position:
R Green = Correct position
R Red = Headlamp beam too
The LEDs indicate which headlamp
is being tested.

Assembly

Device assembly
Assembly of the device:
1. Hold the column and remove the screw, washer,
wave spring and bearing ring from the pin.

2. Insert the column in the trolley. When doing so,
make sure the intermediate coupling ring is centred.

3. Make sure the bearing ring on the column is
centered. Tighten the bolt as far as possible to
eliminate the play of the stand. Tighten by a further
quarter of a turn, taking care to ensure alignment.

The screw must be tightened once a year. The
tightening torque is 20Nm.

4. Return the device to the vertical position and check
that the trolley and column are correctly aligned and
that the column rotates properly.
5. Unpack the light box and remove the screws. Insert
the light box from above in the sliding block of the
column, taking care to ensure full engagement.
