Alignment with vehicle
Laser radiation can damage the retina. Serious
eye injuries could result.
¶
Never aim a laser beam directly at
anybody, particularly not at the face or
eyes.
¶
Never look directly at the laser source.
¶
Avoid reflections, e.g. by covering up or
removing any reflective surfaces in the
vicinity of the laser beam.
¶
Observe the intended use.
1. Choose two points on the front end of the vehicle,
for example the edges of the two headlamps.
2. Switch on the alignment laser.
1. On/Off switch
2. Warning LED status indicator
3. Turn the column with the light box until the two
reference points coincide with the line projected by
the alignment laser.
4. Switch off the alignment laser.
"
The headlight tester is correctly aligned if the laser
beam is in parallel with two symmetrical reference
points on the front of the vehicle.

In the event of poor laser beam reflection, a wing
cover must be placed on the vehicle for example to
permit better detection of the laser beam.
