Connecting the LINE outputs
The CD tuner has four LINE outputs for connecting power amplifiers.
For the connection of the cinch sockets only use the shielded cinch wires. The use of other
cables may cause faults.
Keep the distance of the cables as short as possible.
Do not place the cables near other cables to avoid interferences in the cables.
To avoid distortions or mismatching that could damage the unit or the power amplifiers, the
cinch connector must only be connected to devices with the suitable cinch terminals. For this,
observe also the connection data in the section "Technical Data".
•
Connect the sockets LINE OUT FL and FR with the inputs of the power amplifier for the front loudspeakers.
•
Connect the sockets LINE OUT RL and RR with the inputs of the power amplifier for the rear loudspeakers.
The red socket is a terminal for the right channel
The white socket is a terminal for the left channel
Inserting/replacing the remote control battery
Remove the battery when the device is not being used for longer periods of time.
Leaking or damaged batteries might cause acid burns when getting into contact with skin.
Therefore, use suitable protective gloves.
Make sure that the batteries are neither short-circuited nor thrown into a fire. Do not recharge
batteries. Danger of explosion!
An insulation pad is placed in the battery compartment of the remote control upon delivery which
prevents unwanted discharging of the battery during transport. This pad must be removed prior to initial
operation.
