d) Switching on/off
When the rechargeable batteries are charged or when new batteries are inserted, pull out the antenna
of the transmitter all the way and, for test purposes, switch the transmitter on via the function switch
(see figure 1, pos. 7).
The red, yellow and green LEDs in the LED bar display (see figure 1, pos. 13) indicate the sufficient
power supply of the transmitter.
If the power supply is not sufficient any more for a faultless operation, the green LED switches off. In
this case, you should stop operating your model as quickly as possible.
With a voltage of less than 7.0V, the yellow LED switches off. For further operation of the transmitter
the rechargeable batteries must be recharged (switch off the transmitter first) or new batteries must
be inserted.
Take note of chapter 9.c) when charging the rechargeable batteries in the transmitter.
The plug-in power supply unit contained in the delivery is NOT suitable for charging the
rechargeable batteries in the transmitter! It is meant to be connected to the charge
adaptor/balancer only and hence to charge the flight battery contained in the delivery.
