QUALITY: In this mode, you can set the recording quality. LOW, STANDARD (= normal), HIGH (= high
quality), HIGHEST (= very high quality). Please note: The higher the recording quality, the more disk
space is required for the recording file on the hard disk.
RECORD MODE: This option allows you to determine the recording mode. OFF (= recording must be
started manually), ALWAYS (= permanent recording), MOTION (= recording upon motion detection),
SENSOR (= recording when the sensor triggers), SCHEDULE RECORD (= recording according to
schedule, also see the chapter: "10.2.5 SETUP – SCHEDULE").
AUDIO: With this option you can define to which VIDEO INPUT this AUDIO INPUT is supposed to be
assigned. OFF = audio deactivated
Saving the settings:
Once you have made all settings, left-click on SAVE to save the settings. You can also press the button
"ESC" alternatively. Now a message appears telling you that the settings were changed and asking you

whether you want to save them. Press the button „
" to save the settings or the button "ESC" to cancel

10.2.2.1 Submenu "FPS" – Setting the frames per second
The following contains a detailed explanation of the submenu "FPS".
Select the submenu "FPS". The menu shown on the
left appears.
In NTSC mode, the total FPS (frames per second) of the setting CIF are 120 and in the setting HD1 60.
In PAL mode, the total FPS (frames per second) of the setting CIF are 100 and in the setting HD1 50.
Now you can define manually with how many FPS each individual camera channel is supposed to be
recorded. To do so, select the option GROUP.
If you select the option AUTO, manual setting is not possible. With this option, the system distributes all
available FPS as evenly as possible to all camera inputs.
