Submersible pump runs but
delivers no water.
Submersible pump makes loud
noises and vibrates.

Possible causes
Pump running dry –
water level too low.
Non-return valve blocks
in closed position.
Shut-off valve closed.
Pump worn out.
System wrongly installed.
Water with high gas/air content.
Shaft and guide bearing worn out.
Elimination
Wait until water level is sufficient
again.
Fit dry-running protection
or re-adjust.
Check non-return valve.
If necessary, send pump
to Biral service centre.
Open shut-off valve.
Send pump to Biral service centre.
Raise water level at suction branch.
Fit or re-adjust dry-running
protection.
Raise water level at suction branch.
Fit or re-adjust dry-running
protection.
