Important:
When you move the rudder stick to the right, the rudder must deflect to the right.
Move the left-hand stick forward, and the motor should run; this is the control for
adjusting height, i.e. by advancing and closing the throttle.
We reserve the right to introduce modifications which serve to improve our products.
Test-flying the MINI LIBELLE
Take the model to a sports hall, or - if there is absolutely no trace of wind - to an open
field. You need about half the space of a football pitch to fly the model, and there
must be no obstacles or obstructions in any direction.
Switch the transmitter on, move the throttle stick to the "Off" position, then
operate the switch on the model to turn it on.
Apply full-throttle and push the model into the air; adjust the rudder trim wheel if
necessary to obtain a straight climb. Allow the aeroplane to reach a safe height
before turning it for the first time. There is always a certain delay between giving a
control command (for changing direction) and the model's reaction, which is the
reason why you should keep the model at a safe height initially. Open or close the
throttle to influence the model's rate of climb or descent.
The motor run is around 10 to 12 minutes. We recommend that you use a timer to
ensure that you have plenty of time left for a good landing approach. Always land the
model directly into any wind.
A few final tips on flying
In strong sunshine and light cloud cover you should always wear sunglasses.
If a breeze should come up when the model is already in the air, initiate a landing as
soon as possible, otherwise there is a risk of damage.
The time required to recharge the flight battery varies according to the condition of
the battery and the number and frequency of charge processes. Do not leave the
battery on charge unsupervised.
We hope you have many hours of fun flying your Mini Libelle.
