§4.3 - Impact of rubber platform seals (option S600,
601...)

If the standard HTL is to be mounted with a rubber seal kit
between the closed platform and vehicle body, a spacer
with dimension Q must be foreseen between the rear cross
member of the vehicle loading floor, and the fitting jigs or
the vertically mounted platform.

§4.4 - Method with horizontal platform
•
This is recommended only when the platform can't stand
directly behind the rear frame of the body or rear doors.
E.g. when the door locks are mounted on the rear face of
the doors.
•
Determine the distance at which the platform should stop
behind the rear cross member of the loading floor, and
prepare a corresponding spacer to insert between the rear
cross member and the platform during fitting .
•
Mount 2 strong tubes over the front edge of the platform
[See Fig. 4.8 & 4.9].
•
Position the platform, with the 2 tubes attached to it, on the
loading floor of the vehicle, slide the required spacer (if
any) between the rear cross member of the vehicle floor
and the platform, and secure the platform safely (by means
of a hoist, overhead gantry crane, supported from under-
neath by means of a forklift or lifting jack,...).
