Use only paper sanding pads with an appropriate
adhesive. Mount the desired sanding pad on the
back plate (pos. 08, page 5) and mount it on the
spindle of the sander. Check that it is securely
fitted.
Start the sander by depressing the trigger on the
back of the handle. Regulate speed using the
button on the side of the handle.
Move the sander over the item with gentle
movements. Do not press too hard. Let the sander
do the work.
Troubleshooting
Problem
Tool running at reduced or
varying speed
Tool will not start
Tool starts autmatically when
the hose is connected
Tool vibrates heavily or gets
very hot
ENGLISH
Possible causes
1. Pressure in hose too low
2.
Speed regulator or trigger on tool
defective
1. Defective motor or blockage
2. Dust has contaminated the motor
3. Speed regulator or trigger on tool
defective
4.
Air supply defective
Speed regulator or trigger on tool defective
1. No lubrication in tool
2.
Damaged bearings
Start with a coarse paper, using finer papers until
the desired result is achieved. Do not use a paper
that is too coarse as scratches that may result can
be hard to remove.
Lift the sander from the item before stopping it.
Cleaning and maintenance
If the compressed air supply does not mix
lubricating oil in the air, lubricate the tool with oil
via its compressed air nozzle every 1-2 hours of
operation. Apply a couple of drops of oil to the
nozzle, connect the tool to the hose and let the
tool run for a few seconds to lubricate it. Lubricate
the tool with 4-5 drops of oil using the same
method after use. Do not use a thicker oil than
that supplied (SAE-10), as it may damage the tool.
Clean the tool with a slightly damp cloth after use
and always keep all surfaces clean.
