5-2. RS-232C Input of Initial Setting Items

Initial setting items for the LY51 display unit can be input by the RS-232C.
However, this input is accepted only during initial setting mode display, and is invalid during count operation.
Initial setting items
1 Power-on display mode
2 Input scale addition/subtraction setting
3 Main and sub-display data selection
4 Input scale resolution

5 Display resolution

6 Linear compensation
7 Universal input signal selection
8 Universal output signal selection
9 Key lock function signal enable/disable
0 Current value data storage enable/disable
!¡ A/B phase (or up/down signal) output setting
(valid only when using the LZ51-H)
The numbers input in the initial setting AUTO mode are used for input.
Note
RS-232C self-check is performed immediately after power-on and during initial setting menu key operations (link
connection check). In this case, self-check characters may be output to the output data line, so do not perform
RS-232C communication at this time. Initial setting commands are accepted only when not performing individual
menu operations (only at the initial setting menu).
