3.2. Column with two Behnke door intercoms
Height 2.20 m for lorries and cars (example
installation. Please verify the necessary column
height during the design phase.)
1 + 3▸ Fix the door intercom or the module in
question to the column. To do so, please use
the screws provided in the box. Use a clamping
plate to fix the door intercom's lower end.
2 ▸ Fix the cover panel marked "separation
module" below the door intercom's frame with a
clamping plate.
4 ▸ Then fix the cover panel marked "start
module" so that the straight cut edge points
towards the end of the column. The chamfered
edge points towards the Behnke door intercom
device or towards the module frame. Use a
second clamping plate to fix the lower edge of
the cover panel.
5 ▸ Use the cover panel marked "closing
module" to close the remainder of the column.
In case the cover panel is too long, please
shorten it accordingly. Please note that the
distance to the column's base must not be
greater than 5 mm.
6 ▸ When fixing the "closing module", please
make sure that the two drilled holes point up.
The lower edge will be fixed to the column's
base with an angle piece (cf. page 34).
