Thopaz + in case of spill on seal
In case of spill on release button, bed holder, docking station's push button standard holder,
and holder with rail
x x x – Disconnect/remove all accessories�
x x
– Wipe external surfaces of the device to remove all gross soil with a soft, lint-free wipe
moistened with tap water�
x – Disassemble all soiled components into their maximum number of individual parts�
– Remove the release button by unlocking it with the help of two levers, that have no sharp
edges and a shaft diameter of ≤ 3�5 mm (see picture)�
– Loosen the screws of the bed holder with a Philips screwdriver and remove them
(see picture)�
– Carefully open the Torx Screw on the docking station, compress the spring by pressing
the button� After removing the screw, slowly release the push button� Next, remove the push
button and the spring� Then remove the lower claw by closing the clamp and then pulling�
x – If necessary, and for the removal of gross soil, place the disassembled components in tap
water for 10 minutes and wipe off visible staining with a soft, lint-free wipe soaked in tap
water�
– If residual soil has dried onto the disassembled components, the soil must be rehydrated
before the enzymes can be effective�

– Clean thoroughly under the gasket with the help of a sterile spatula without sharp edges
and according to the following process:
– Fold a CaviWipes™ or Incidin OxyWipe S™ wipe once in the middle so that the tip
of the spatula is enveloped by the wipe�
– Wrap the wipe once around the spatula�
– Carefully insert the wipe-wrapped spatula under the contaminated seal on the far left
or far right side of the Thopaz + � Then slide it to the center of the device and push it outward
in an sweeping motion�
– Replace the cleaning and disinfection wipe with a new one�
– Carefully insert the wrapped spatula under the contaminated seal on the other side of
Thopaz + � Then push towards the center of the device, past the spot where you swept out
before� Then slide outwards in a sweeping motion�
– Replace the cleaning and disinfection wipe with a new one and repeat the aforementioned
cleaning steps until the cleaning and disinfection wipe is no longer soiled�

– Wipe all external surfaces of the device with CaviWipes™ or Incidin OxyWipe S™ wipe�
– Wipe away from difficult-to-clean areas (e�g�, where components that cannot be disassem-
bled meet and crevices)�
– Use a new cleaning and disinfectant wipe when the wipe is contaminated�
– Clean until all visible soil is removed� Pay special attention to the difficult-to-clean areas�
