Transport

First stop the engine prior to transport and move to a new location. It is not
allowed to tranpsort the hedge trimmer with a running engine!
Fit the blade bar protection to the blade bar. Only carry the hedge trimmer by
the front handle (3) and turn the blade bar to the rear.

Long-term Storage

When storing the hedge trimmer for long time, empty
the fuel tank. Store the fuel in approved containers.
Start the engine, let it run at idling speed and allow
the engine to run out of fuel.
Pull the starter handle (4) again to remove
remaining fuel from the carburettor.
Set the start/stop switch (6) to the position O.
Remove the spark plug and pour approx. 10 mm
fresh and clean two-stroke oil into the cylinder.
Place a clean cloth over the spark plug hole and
pull the starter handle (4) several times in order to
evenly distribute the oil.
Determine the correct position of the piston by viewing into the spark plug
hole. Slowly pull the starter handle until the piston is lifted up. Leave the
piston in this position.
Reattach the spark plug but do not connect the spark plug cable.
Store the hedge trimmer indoors in a dry and dust-free place. Protect the
machine from dirt and extreme temperatures.
