Before first Use
Remove the hedge trimmer and the accessory from the packaging. Keep
packaging materials out of reach of small children. There is risk of suffocation!
The hedge trimmer is delivered already mounted. Please familiarise yourself with
the machine before using for the first time.
Intended Use
The hedge trimmer is designed for cutting leaves, bushes, shrubs and hedges.
The hedge trimmer is not suitable for cutting thick branches. The max. cutting
diameter for branches is 20 mm.
Filling Fuel
The engine may only be operated with a mixture of unleaded regular or super
gasoline and high quality oil for air-cooled two-stroke engines. Only use oil that is
especially formulated for air-cooled two-stroke engines.
The recommended Mixture Ratio is: Gasoline 35 : Oil 1
HINT: Failure in mixing the correct fuel will cause severe damage to the engine
inner parts. Never use oil for 4-cylinder engines. Do not mix the gasoline and the
oil directly in the fuel tank.
Do not use gasoline that has been stored for longer than 3 months.
1.
Open the cap of the fuel tank (5)
and wait some seconds for the
tank pressure to be equalized.
Remove the fuel tank cap.
2.
Pour in the mixture into the tank
and tighten the cap only hand
tight. Make sure not to spill fuel
and not to overfill the tank.
3.
Move at least 3 m away from
refuelling location before starting
the engine.
