Before first Use
Unpack the bypass tree pruner and check it for any damage in transit. Dispose
of packaging materials or store it out of reach of children. Plastic bags etc.
may become a deadly toy for children.
Only use the bypass tree pruner for cutting wood. Do not abuse the scissors or
the saw blade for cutting material not intended for.
Using the Scissors of the Tree Pruner
1. For using the scissors first unlock
the locking mechanism (2a) of the
unit. First pull the turning knob (2b)
outwards and then turn the knob
180° in direction OPEN. By doing
this the locking mechanism will
slide up and the scissors will open.
2. By pulling out and releasing the pull
knob (1) the scissors (5) will open
and close. By doing this, branches
up to a thickness of 30 mm can be
cut. Do not cut branches thicker
than 30 mm.
Adjusting the Cutting Head
The cutting head can be adjusted up to 180°
in totally 8 positions.
1. First pull out the turning knob (3) and then
turn to the desired direction, either to the
right or to the left.
2. As soon as the cutting head is set to the
correct angle position, release the turning
knob and the cutting head will engage in
this position.
