b) Commissioning
Set the "ON/OFF" switch (25) to ON.
When the LCD screen with digital recorder is switched on, the device initialises:
When there is a power outage during a recording, the LCD screen with digital recorder tries to return
directly to recording mode once it is powered up again.
When a new hard disk is used, you will be asked if you want to format the hard disk
before the initialisation process starts. Press the "PLAY" button (20, 37) at the
screen or remote control to format the hard disk, or the "STOP" button (22, 45) to
cancel.
RS485 connection:
The RS485 connection is intended for a suitable PTZ camera.

SENSOR connections:
The sensor connections 1 to 4 can be used to connect sensors

with NC or NO contacts.

ALARM connection:
The ALARM connection can be used for connecting e.g. an opti-
cal or acoustic signalling device. The ALARM connection is a NO
relay contact.
During initialisation, the firmware manufacturing date and
the firmware version name are displayed.
Then the LCD screen with digital recorder scans for the
installed hard disk and displays the hard disk information if
a hard disk is found.
