2. Intended Use
This LCD screen is intended for connection of up to 4 cameras (4 x BNC connection on the rear of the
screen; VIDEO INPUT). The image is played in colour. Inside the case, you can connect and mount an
SATA hard disc (max. 1TB). Video data is recorded in MJPEG (=Motion JPEG).
Furthermore, this DVR screen has a USB interface that makes it possible to back up your previous
recordings onto a USB drive. The included software then enables you to play the recordings on a PC
or notebook.
The LCD screen with digital recorder also has a VIDEO OUTPUT (BNC) on the rear for connection of a
screen, a AUDIO OUTPUT (RCA) connection, two AUDIO INPUT (RCA) connections for audio signal
input and a socket (PS2) for the included mouse.
At the rear of the LCD screen with digital recorder, there is also a terminal for connecting sensors (NO or
NC contacts), a PTZ camera (optionally available; = PAN-, TILT-, ZOOM CAMERA) and an optical or
acoustic alarm.
This LCD screen with digital recorder is able to play back a video even while recording.
Due to the integrated motion detection, a recording can be started when changing certain image con-
tents. The detection area and detection sensitivity can be adjusted. The user-friendly screen menu can
be used to easily adjust all settings. There is a remote control or mouse for additional comfort.
The LCD screen with digital recorder uses PAL or NTSC video signals (adjustable).
The LCD screen with digital recorder, the remote control and the provided mains adapter are intended
for dry indoor use only.
The LCD screen with digital recorder must only be powered using the included mains adapter. The
remote control is powered by 2 x 1.5V micro batteries (type AAA).
No part of this product may be modified or rebuilt. The labels on the product must not be damaged or
removed.
Any use other than that described above damages the product and involves dangers such as short-cir-
cuits, fire, electric shock, etc.
