Instruction relative à la protection de l'environnement !
Le consommateur final est légalement (décret sur les batteries
usées) dans l'obligation de retourner toutes les batteries et accu-
mulateurs usés (de la batterie-bouton jusqu'aux accumulateurs
au plomb) ; l'élimination avec les ordures ménagères est interdite.
Vos batteries et accumulateurs usés peuvent être retournées gra-
tuitement, aussi bien à nos filiales qu'à notre centrale à Hirschau,
ainsi qu'aux organismes communaux soumis à obligation de
reprise.
Apportez votre contribution à la protection de l'environnement.
Ne laissez pas les piles à la portée des enfants, conservez-les
dans un endroit auquel ils ne peuvent pas accéder. En cas d'inge-
stion de piles, d'accumulateurs ou de piles boutons, il y a DAN-
GER DE MORT ! Si un tel incident se produit, contactez immédia-
tement un médecin ou les secours d'urgence !
5. Eléments de commande et ports
1. Interrupteur marche/arrêt
Cet interrupteur vous permet de mettre sous tension / hors tension
teur à l'intérieur du subwoofer.
2. Bouton de réglage du volume Master
Ce bouton vous permet de régler le volume "Master", c'est-à-dire le volume maxi-
mum réglable depuis l'unité de commande.

If the PC loudspeaker set has not been taken into operation for an extended time, it
must be switched off via the ON/OFF switch on the subwoofer, and via the ON/OFF
switch on the control unit.
Operation is only admissible indoors, in dry rooms.
At the site of installation or during transport, the following adverse ambient conditi-
ons should be avoided:
- Moisture or excessively high relative humidity
- Extremely low or high ambient temperatures
- Dust or combustible gases, vapours or solvents
- a high level of vibrations
- powerful magnetic fields, as exist near machinery or other loudspeakers
When installing the PC loudspeaker set, make sure that the power cable and all the
other connecting cables are neither kinked nor pinched.
10. Cleaning and maintenance
Check the product at regular intervals for technical safety, e.g. for damage to the
housing or the power cable.

If safe operation cannot be expected any longer, the product must be put out of ope-
ration and secured against unauthorized operation. Remove the mains plug from the
mains socket-outlet, pull the control unit's plug-in power supply unit from the mains
socket-outlet.
Should you detect traces of damage, you must NOT connect the
product to the power supply. Doing so would involve a mortal
hazard!
Never insert pointed objects (e.g. ball-point pens, pins or knitting
needles, paper clips etc.) in the ventilation louvres or the openings
of the loudspeaker; there is a risk of a mortal electric shock, and
this might destroy the loudspeakers and the computer connected
to them!
