Si vous disposez d'un signal numérique, vous pouvez utiliser l'interface optique à la
place de l'interface SPDIF.
Vous pouvez brancher des appareils audio courants sur l'interface audio stéréo
(LINE-IN).
Les haut-parleurs satellites se fixent au mur ou au plafond à l'aide des pièces de
fixation et des vis livrées avec le produit. Selon la disposition des haut-parleurs, les
écrans avant dotés de la plaque du constructeur se retirent et se remettent en place
facilement.

6. Raccordement à votre PC
Si vous ne possédez aucune connaissance technique en matière
de raccordement, faites appel à un SPECIALISTE ou à un person-
nel compétent !
Un raccordement incorrect risquerait d'endommager l'ensemble
de haut-parleurs de même que votre ordinateur et tous les
appareils périphériques.
• Mettez hors tension votre ordinateur ainsi que tous les appareils périphériques et
coupez leur alimentation.
• Reliez les cinq haut-parleurs satellites au subwoofer. Les haut-parleurs satellites
et leurs ports correspondants à l'arrière du subwoofer sont repérés par les lettres
L, R, SL, SR, et C. Raccordez correctement les haut-parleurs.
• Reliez l'unité de commande au port situé à l'arrière du subwoofer à l'aide du câble
de raccordement doté de deux minifiches DIN.

8. Settings
The control unit can be operated via the 4 buttons on the control unit's front panel, or
via the remote control. Operation via the remote control is much more convenient;
thus please use the remote control by preference.
a) Buttons on the control unit
The "MODE" button is used for successive selection of the input (analog/digital), sur-
round mode (Prologic/stereo), loudspeaker mode, volume control, balance mode for
the six loudspeakers (L, R, SL, SR, C, SW) and delay mode (SL/SR, C).
Push the arrow keys required (UP/DOWN) to change the option which is active at the
time.
The setting mode is exited via the "Enter" button.
b) Remote control
• "Power" button
It is used to switch the control unit ON or OFF.
• "Test" button
It is used to activate the test mode ("TEST" symbol on the LC display is flashing). A
noise is generated on all loudspeakers successively; please compare the abbrevia-
tions of the loudspeakers in the display (symbol L, R, SL, SR, C, SW) with their
actual location.
• "Mute" button
This is for muting the audio signal which has just been rendered ("MUTE" symbol in
LC display flashes while muting is active), e.g. for the time of a phone call.
• "Speaker mode" button
By activating this button, you can select the various replay modes. In each mode,
you can actuate additionally the "Bass" button (see below) to activate the bass gain.
• "Balance" button
Once this button has been pushed, the "BALANCE" symbol in the LCD and the "L"
symbol below the first of the six bar displays in the left part of the display start flas-
hing.
By then pressing the two arrow buttons (UP/DOWN), you can reduce or increase the
volume of the "L" loudspeaker.
By pushing the "Balance" button again, the "R" symbol starts flashing; now the
volume of the "R" loudspeaker can be adjusted.
As the "Balance" button is actuated again, the volume of the other loudspeakers
can also be varied.
This is ideal if the loudspeakers are at different distances; adjust all loudspeakers so
that they have approximately the same volume.
