Operation
Before first Use
Unpack the cable winch and check all parts for damage in transit. Dispose of
packaging material or store it out of reach of children. Plastic bags may become a
deadly toy for children.
Install the winch preferably on a tubular steel boom, as
shown in the figure. Make sure the unit is horizontally
mounted.
The tubular steel you use must have a diameter of at least
48 mm and a wall and a thickness of at least 3 mm. Anchor
the boom permanently to a wall. The anchoring must be of
appropriately sturdy design, i.e. must be able to carry the
loads.
Appropriate ready-made booms can be ordered from Westfalia under the below
mentioned article numbers:
Article No. 267039 for maximum 600 kg weight and with 75 cm arm,
Article No. 267104 for maximum 250 kg weight and with 110 cm arm.

Using with one winch
With the lifting hook with pulley (H) it is possible to increase the maximum lifting
weight.
Hook the firm lifting hook (B) into the mounting opening (C) as shown in the
drawing.
