Please note the included General Safety Notes and the
following safety notes to avoid malfunctions, damage
or physical injury:
 Please read this manual carefully and use the unit only
according to this manual.
 Dispose of used packaging material carefully or store it out of
the reach of children. There is a danger of suffocation!
 Make sure the voltage corresponds to the type label on the
unit.
 Please note the warning triangle. It parks all those instructions
which are important for safety reasons. Observe these instruc-
tions as failure to do so could result in serious injury!
 Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are
not allowed to use the chain saw, unless they are supervised
for their safety by a qualified person or are briefed by the
responsible person how to use the machine.
 Only use the chain saw as indicated in this manual for cutting
wood or objects made of wood.
 The chain saw must be used only by one person at a time.
Make sure bystanders do not stay in the chain saw's area of
swing.
 Make sure the chain saw is not touching anything and moving
free. Firmly hold the chain saw in both hands when working.
 Cutting with the chain saw when standing on a ladder, in a
tree or in any other instable places in not allowed. Do not cut
with the chain saw above shoulder height and do not saw with
one hand.
 Use only original accessories and original replacement parts.
 When sawing converted timber and thin branches always use
a strong support, such as a sawing trestle. Do not stack
