Start up

1. After mounting the chain saw and checking the oil level, connect
the plug with power mains. First, form a loop into the cord and slide
the loop through the opening of the handle from below in order to fix
the extension cord into the plastic hook. By doing this, you will avoid
an accidental cut-off from power mains while working with the chain
saw.
2. To switch on the machine, first press the safety lock-off (5) and than
press the ON/OFF switch (10).
3. The chain saw is equipped with soft start. The machine will reach
its max. speed after 2 – 3 seconds. Wait until the machine has
reached high engine speed and than start cutting.
4. To switch off the chain saw, release the ON/OFF switch. The chain
will immediately stop while the machine is still running out.

Avoiding dangerous Situations while Cutting

Kickback may occur:

when the tip of the sword touches a hard object,

when the saw chain on the sword tip is
jammed while cutting.
To avoid the Risk of Kickback,

make sure no body parts are in the
extended swing range of the saw chain,
Operation
The most common reactive forces are: kick-
back, pull-in and pushback.
1. Kickback
Kickback may cause deadly injuries.
If kickback occurs, the chain saw will be rapidly
kicked back in direction to the operator.
