Before first Use

Take the unit out of the packaging. Keep packaging materials out of reach of
children. There is risk of suffocation! Clean the housing of the unit as
described in the chapter "Cleaning" on page 19.

Intended Use

The polybag vacuum sealer is intended for sealing polybags in order to keep
food fresh for longer time as well as for storing a variety of objects.
You can prepare large quantities, cook in advance and store the food for
longer time. When storing food in the sturdy PE-HD bags you will eliminate
freezer burn. Vacuum-packed food will not become rancid, does not dry out
and ferment and mould will be minimized.
Use the unit to seal again open packages. By doing this you can keep food
longer fresh and preserve from bacteria, mould, insect larvae etc.

General Hints when using Polybags

Use only plastic bags that are suitable for this polybag vacuum sealer. You
can also use standard polybags with a max. width of up to 29 cm. Suitable
bags made of polyethylene high density are marked with the inscription
„PE-HD".
Fill only ¾ of its content into the polybags. Make sure the top part of the
bag is free from food or liquid. Otherwise the sealing seam cannot be
made properly. To make sure that the sealing seam is airtight, the bags
have to be waveless and wrinkle-free.
When cutting the bag roll, make sure the bag is cut straight so the unit will
be able to seal the bag properly.
Clean the polybags in warm soapy water and allow the bags to dry fully
before using again. If you have already used polybags to store meat, fish
or greasy food, do not reuse these bags for storing food.
The polybags are not suitable for "cooking-in-the bag" or for heating up in
the microwave. If you want to heat up freezed, sealed or vacuum-sealed
food, frist remove the bag. To open the bag, cut along the sealed seam
with a scissors. This way you can reuse the polybag for storing food or
other objects.
