Please note the following safety notes to avoid
malfunctions, damage or physical injury:
 The operating instruction belongs to this product. The
operating instruction contains important details for
handling the unit. Please pass it on along with the unit
if it is handed over to a third party!
 Do not leave packaging material in the range of
children. Plastic bags etc. may become a dangerous
toy for children.
 Always observe the relevant regulations for cargo
securing (EN 12195-2:2000).
 Failure to observe the warnings may result in personal
injury and property damage. Read, understand and
follow all safety notes before using the tie down.
 This ratchet tie down is only intended to tie down
loads. Do not knot it. Do not misuse the tie down (e. g.
for lifting people or for towing of cars).
 Do NOT use the tie down for carrying or lifting loads!
 Do not store the ratchet tie down close to heat
sources and do not continuously expose the unit to
direct sunlight or chemicals.
 Regularly check the tie down for any signs of wear. If
the belt is worn or ripped, do not continue using the
belt. The belt has to be replaced with a new belt.
