When sawing building materials observe the statutory requirements and the
manufacturer's recommendations. Make sure the saw blade and the blade
speed are suitable for the workpiece.

When sawing metal observe that the material can easily heat up. The saw
blade will harden and loose its cutting efficiency and flexibility.
- Always use undamaged saw blades,
- grease the material on the cutting site with cutting oil or lubricate,
- do not touch the cutting site immediately after the cutting process.

When cutting woods, do not use too much pressure on the saw blade. If the
stroke rate is too fast, the cutting line will tear off.

When cutting plastics do not operate the saw with a high speed. The plastic
material will heat up, start to melt or will melt after the cutting line.

Use narrow blades for tight curved cuttings.

The length of the saw blade should not exceed the intended cutting length.

To make flush cuttings, e. g. sawing pipes directly on the wall, preferably use
a flexible bimetal saw blade. The length of the saw blade has to exceed the
diameter of the workpiece you intend to cut. First, place the saw blade directly
on the wall surface and bend the blade with sideways pressure so that the
pivoting shoe comes up against the wall.

Plunge sawing can be used only in soft materials. Only use short saw blades
when undertaking plunge sawing. First, cut as usual the surface of the work-
piece and as soon as you have reached the requested depth of cut, bring the
blade into the vertical position and continue sawing along the cutting line.

Suitable for coarse sawing of wood.
Suitable for fine sawing of wood boards
and for curves or plunge cuttings.
The flexible blade allows flush sawing for
coarse work in wood and plastics.
