Remove the unit and the accessory out of the packaging and check for any
damage in transit. Keep packaging materials out of reach of children. There is risk
of suffocation!

Inserting the Saw Blade

First, make sure the power plug is not plugged into the wall socket. Use only
suitable saw blades and do not use blunt, damaged or bent saw blades.
1. Loosen the locking lever (F) in order to move the
pivoting shoe (D).
2. Pull out the pivoting shoe (D) to its maximum length.
3. To open the blade clamp (C), turn it clockwise.
Observe the arrow on the blade clamp that shows the
right turning direction.
4. Insert the saw blade (E) with the cutting side down-
wards. Never insert the saw blade with the cutting side
upwards. Turn the blade clamp manually counter clockwise
to fasten the saw blade. Please make sure the blade
clamp is firmly secured!
5. Press the pivoting shoe (D) back to initial position and
secure it by folding back the locking lever (F).
6. Carefully pull the saw blade to make sure the saw blade is firmly secured.
To adjust the cutting depth, unfold the locking lever and pull resp. Press the
pivoting shoe to the desired locking position.
