Using the Rear Support Strap
(See Fig, 4)
Fix one end of the Rear Support Strap to the rear of tne
unit, and the other end to the Fire Wall of Car.

Using the Rubber Cushion
(See Fig. 5)
If there is an existing Rear Support Bracket on the Fire
Wail
ot Car, simply place the Rubber Cushion over the
orotruding bo!t on the rear of the unit. Then mount the
rear of tne unit to the existing Rear Support Bracket.

INSTALLATION
HINTS
Please observe the following
hints, in order to obtain fine
and clear reception.
Antenna:
The
antenna
should
be mounted
at the side of the car
opposite to the ignition coil. The antenna holder must be
properly grounded, that is the inside of the fender around
the hole for the antenna
has to be free of paint and anti-
corrosive, After cleaning the inside of the fender around
above
hole apply water-resistant
contact
spray
or contact
grease. The antenna should be installed with some inclina-
tion
(if possible),
in order
to obtain fine FM reception,
Radio:
The
unit must
have good contact
with the car body.
If
required, attach a ground
band
or a ground wire (4 to
6mm?)
between
the case
of the
unit and the car body.
The screws should not be mounted
into the set for more
than
8mm,
because
otherwise
a short
circuit may
occur
and
the
car
radio
may
be damaged.
The
power
supply
should
come
from
the
proper
terminal
of the
ignition
switch (refer to operating instructions of the car) or from
a direct plus terminal (fuse block, cigaretter lighter).
NOTE:
The antenna trimmer adjustment is not necessary for this
unit,

Ein Ende der Stutzstrebe an der Ruckseite des Gerates
befestigen

Sprizwand
anbringen.

Falis bereits an der Spritzwand eine hintere Stutzkonsole
angebracht
ist, einfach das Gummikissen an der, an der
Gerateruckseite
uberstehenden
Schraube
anbringen.
Danach
die Gerdteruckseite
richtig an der vorhandenen
Stutzkonsole montieren.

EINBAUHINWEISE
Um
einen einwandfreien Empfang zu gewanhrieisten, bitten
wir Sie, die nachstehend
aufgefuhrten Punkt zu beachter :
Antenne:
Die Antenne
sol! auf der Seite des
Fahrzeugs
eingebaut
werden,
die gegenuber
der
Montagestelle
der Zundspue
liegt, Auf einen guten Massekontakt ist Zu achten, d.h. das
an der Unterseite des Kotflugels um das Antennentoch Lack
und
Rostschutz
entfernt
werden
mussen.
Die gereinigie
Stelle
mit
einem
Wasserverdrangungs-und
Kontaktspray
oder
Kontaktfett
behandeln.
Die
Antenne
soll
nacn
Moglichkeit
schrag eingesetzt werden,
um
einen einwand-
freien
UKW-Empfang zu erreichen.
Radio:
Das Gerat muf& guten Kontakt mit dem Chassis des Wagers
haben.
Gegebenenfalls
muff
ein Masseband
oder
ein @

starkes Kabe! an das Gehause des Radiogerates und
an das Wagenchassis angeschiossen werden. Die Befestigung:-
schrauben durfen nicht mehr ais 8mm ins Gerat reichen, da
sonst
Kurzschluf&gefahr besteht und eine Beschadigung des
Autoradios die Folge sein kann. Die Betriebsspannung sollte
an der fur Radio vorgesehenen Klemme des Zundschlosses
(siehe Beschreibung des Autos} oder von einer direkten Plu-
Klemme (Sicherungsleiste, Zigarettenanzunder) entnommen
werden.
HINWEIS:
Die
Antennen-Trimmer-Einstellung
ist fur dieses
Geré
nicht erforderlich.
