6.1
External Signal Blanking
6.1.1
Description
External signal blanking reduces the sensitivity to
interfering signals in the surrounding area. Interference is
filtered out.
If external signal blanking is active, an additional
measurement is performed with the transmitter switched
off. This allows external light interference to be blanked
out. However, the measurement becomes slower and the
maximum possible switching frequency can decrease.
