surfaces with the engine switched off and the spark plug connector
disconnected. Regular maintenance is essential for safety and top
performance.

Open out the Z-shaped, folded guide bar by pulling upwards in the following order:
–
First, raise the lower section of the guide bar A1 and firmly tighten the nuts on
both sides B1 .
–
Lift the upper guide bar section until upper and lower section of the guide bar
are at one level.
–
The quick-release clamps for attachment of the upper and lower section of the
bar are preset by the manufacturer. V4
1.
Pull up the quick-release clamp to the bar.
2.
Tighten the screws by hand.
3.
Open the quick-release clamp.
4.
Tighten the screw by 1/4 to 1/2 turn.
5.
Pull up the quick-release clamp again and check whether the bars are
firmly connected. Correct if necessary.
–
Keep this setting. If the connection becomes loose over time, the screws must

Plug the two screws (1) through the lower section of the bar and place a
washer (2) on each (from the tool bag).
–
On the inside of the lower part of the bar, set the support bar (3) to one of the
three positions to set the different bar angles:
•
Top notch = steep bar setting (for taller users)
•
Bottom notch = flat bar setting (for shorter users)
–
Then place a washer (2) on each side and fasten with a nut (4).
–
Tighten the two nuts (5) by hand to fix the support bar to the housing.

IMPORTANT
When adjusting the bar height using the support bar, the nuts (2) B1 do not
have to be loosened to fasten the lower part of the bar.
Only loosen the nuts (4) W2 to the extent necessary to allow the bar to move
freely during this task. This prevents the bar from folding over unintentionally
and crush points between the lower part of the bar and the housing are
avoided.

Remove the starter cable holder (1) from the tool bag.
–
Unscrew the nut until the two halves can be pushed over the bar.

cable from popping out. The starter cable holder must be fitted / aligned in such
a way that the starter cable is freely accessible and does not rub against any
other parts.
