ROW MARKER DISK ADJUSTMENT

Open the row marker arms as described in chapter 4.4.1.
Attach the disc holding sleeve (1 Fig. 50) onto the two arms of the
row marker, without overtightening the nuts, insert the disc and
secure it in place by means of the snap pin.
Hydraulically folding row marker with trace on the tractor wheel;
Using the table 4 shown, read the distance (L Fig. 43) at which
the disc is to draw the reference line. Regulate the disc at the
correct distance, tilt it slightly and firmly tighten the nuts (Fig. 50).

For distances not covered by the table, use the following rule:
L= D (N +1) - C
where:
L= the distance between the outer most unit and the row marker;
D= the distance between the rows;
N= the number of units operating;
C= the tractorís front wheelbase;
Example: D = 75 cm; N = 10 units; C = 190 cm
L = 75 (10 + 1) - 190 = 317,5 cm
Row marker with trace in the centre of the tractor and hydraulic
folding inside the planter's overall dimensions.
Using the table 5 shown, read the distance (L Fig. 44) at which
the disc is to draw the reference line. Regulate the disc at the
correct distance, tilt it slightly and firmly tighten the nuts (Fig. 50).
For distances not covered by the table, use the following rule:

Example: D = 75 cm; N = 10 units;
L = 75 (10 + 1) = 412,5 cm
In presenza di terreni normali la posizione corretta di lavoro del
disco è quella indicata dalla Fig. 51 rif. A; per terreni forti rove-
sciarlo come da rif. B Fig. 51. Il disco segnafile può essere
dotato di limitatore di profondità (C Fig. 51), particolarmente
adatto per terreni soffici, al fine di salvaguardare l'integrità del
segnafile stesso.
