To put the harrow in its transport position, follow the instructions
given below:
1) Raise the machine fully from the ground.
2) Raise the clamp (1 Fig. 34).
3) Actuate the hydraulic system to raise the seed-covering harrow
fully into its transport position, lock it in place with the securing
bolts (2 Fig. 34) and secure the bolts with the special retaining
clips. The securing bolts should be inserted from the inside
of the machine towards the outside, otherwise they would
be damaged by the raising of the rear trolley.
Before starting up the equipment, check the area urrounding
the machine to ensure that there are no people, especially
children or pets, nearby, and ensure that you have excellent
visibility. Lower the seed-covering harrow to the work position
when the machine is hoisted. When transporting on public
roads, fold the harrow into its transport position and lock it in
place using the safety pin.

3.9 ROW MARKER DISK ADJUSTMENT

The row marker is a machine that traces a reference line parallel
to the tracks of the tractor on the ground.
When the tractor has finished a run and turned round, it will
proceed by travelling with the centre of the tractor on the reference
line (Fig. 35). The row marker will continue to trace a parallel
reference line during its progress down each row. The inversion
of the row-marker arms is moved by means of a control on the
seeder.
To adjust the system, refer to chapter 3.10 ADJUSTING THE
HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS.
ATTENTION
Before starting up the equipment, check the area urrounding
the machine to ensure that there are no people, especially
children or pets, nearby, and ensure that you have excellent
visibility.

ROW MARKING ARM LENGTH

Support the row marker arm and release the safety lock bolt and
put it in the lower hole. By means of the hydraulic system, lower
the row marker arm and rest it on the ground.
Switch off the tractor engine, put on the hand brake and block the
tractor with a wedge or stone of suitable size under each of the
wheels. Slacken the nuts (1 Fig. 36) and adjust the length of the
arm according to the following formula:
where:
L= the distance between the outer most unit and the row marker
D= the distance between the rows
N= the number of units operating
D = 75 cm; N = 10 units;
Example:
L = 18 (22 + 1) = 207 cm
ATTENTION
When moving on the road, block the row-marker,vertical
position, arms with the dowels and the snap split pins, and
turn the row-marker disks inwards within the external
dimensions of the machine.
