2.4 Alignment of the needle with the stitch hole

Rule:
The needle, seen in the feeding direction, should stitch in the middle of
the stitch hole.
Setting:
–
Turn the hand wheel until the needle stitches in the stitch hole.

Loosen the screw 6 and align the needle bar according to the rule
–
Tighten the screw 6.
NOTE
The needle bar coulisse 7 should move easily in any position.
–
Check for easy movement:
Turn the hand wheel and move the roller support 2 by hand at the
same time.
–
In case of a shear movement, remove the plug 8 loosen the back
screw and align the needle bar coulisse 7 accordingly.
–
Tighten the screw and replace the plug 8 .
ATTENTION !
Danger of damaging the machine!
Following the change of the needle position, check the hook setting,
see 3.3 Distance of the hook to the needle!
