12. Maintenance and Cleaning

Always observe the following safety instructions before cleaning or servicing the effect light:
Live components may be exposed if covers are opened or components are removed.
The device must be disconnected from all power sources before any servicing or repair work is carried out.
Capacitors inside the device may still carry voltage even though they have been disconnected from all
power sources.
Only qualified experts familiar with the hazards involved and the relevant regulations must perform repairs.

a) Cleaning

Never use any aggressive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions, since these may
damage the casing or even impair function.
• Always disconnect the product from the power supply before cleaning it.
• Use a dry, lint-free cloth for cleaning the product.
b) Fuse Replacement
If it becomes necessary to replace a fuse, make sure that only fuses of the prescribed type and nominal current are
used (see "Technical Data").
Never repair fuses or bridge the fuse holder.
• Unplug the mains plug from the mains socket and disconnect the low-voltage cable from the mains connection (8)
at the device.
• Carefully open the fuse holder with the faulty fuse next to the mains connection (8) using a suitable screwdriver.
• Remove the defective fuse and replace it with a new fuse of the indicated type.
• Carefully push the fuse holder with the new fuse back into its position at the mains connection (8) of the device.
• After this, you can reconnect the device to the mains and take it into operation.
