Safety Warnings for Sheet Metal Shears
The machine must not be damp
and must also not be operated in
damp suroundings.
Before each use of the unit, check the
cable and plug. If damage is detected, do
not use the unit. Have repairs performed
only by a qualified technician. Never
open the unit yourself.
When working, always wear protective
goggles, protective gloves and firm foot-
wear.
For long hair, wear hair protection. Work
only with closely fitting clothes.

Intended Use

This power tool is intended for cutting sheet metal, cut-
outs and tight curves.
For damage caused by usage other than intended, the
user is responsible.

For Your Safety

The term "power tool" in the warnings refers to your
mains-operated (corded) power tool or battery-oper-
ated (cordless) power tool.
Working safely with this product
is possible only when the operat-
ing and safety information are
read completely and the instruc-
tions contained therein are strictly
followed.
 Do not carry the power tool by its cord.
 Before any work on the machine itself, during work
breaks as well as when not using, pull the mains
plug from the socket outlet.
 Always direct the cable to the rear away from the
power tool.
 Guide the power tool to the sheet metal only when
switched on.
 While working, always keep proper footing.
 Clamp the workpiece in case it does not rest safely
through its own weight.
 The cutting blade may not graze against the cutting
bars: Danger of cutting-tool breakage.
 Do not exceed the maximal permitted material
thickness, especially when cutting through doubled
sheet, folded sheet or welding spots.
 Use only original Würth accessories.
