I Changing the minimum trimming margin (Additional DIP switch function)
(Be sure to turn off the power before changing any of the DIP switch settings. Refer to page 185.)
The minimum trimming margin is set to 2.0 mm (
allowance for the possibility of striking the needle and the fixed edge knife. The minimum trimming margin can be
changed to 1.5 mm (

1. Use the setting positions for DIP switches 2-1 and 2-2 (A – C) inside the control box to set the trimming margin
as shown in the table below, and also replace the fixed edge knife and stopper with the parts for use when the
minimum sewing margin is 1.5 mm. (Refer to pages 149 and 153.)
2. Set DIP switch 1-4 to ON. (Refer to pages 185 and 187.)
