Final application of the 7.0 mm blue
polyaxial screw or the 10 mm blue poly-
axial screw XL

Screw down the polyaxial screw or XL screw with
the ball-end screwdriver.
Risk of pulling the 7.0 mm
blue polyaxial screw or the
10 mm blue polyaxial screw XL
WARNING
out of the vertebral body
through incorrect operation or
non-observance of the correct
sequence of operating steps!

Tighten the 7.0 mm blue
polyaxial screw or the
10 mm blue polyaxial
screw XL a maximum of
one turn per side.
Remove the ball-end
screwdriver from the rear
section of the 7.0 mm blue
polyaxial screw or the
10 mm blue polyaxial
screw XL by gently rotating
it left and right.

Implantation of the stabilization screw

Snap on the aiming sleeve for the stabilization
screw 17, 18.
Risk of injury due to use of
incorrect aiming sleeve, incor-
rect placement of the aiming
WARNING
sleeve, or failure to use an
aiming sleeve for the stabiliza-
tion screw!

To ensure the aiming sleeve
for the stabilization screw
snaps on easily, guide the
aiming sleeve onto the
centralizer in an ortho-
grade direction.
Clamping element T is for
use with the aiming sleeve
for thoracic stabilization
screw, see handle
geometry T.
Clamping element TL is for
use with the aiming sleeve
for lumbar stabilization
screw, see handle
geometry L.
The 10 mm blue polyaxial
screw XL is for use with the
aiming sleeve for lumbar
stabilization screw, see
handle geometry L.
Fit the aiming sleeve for
stabilization screw so that
it sits above the hole for
the stabilization screw in
the clamping element or
the 10 mm blue polyaxial
screw XL.
Use the appropriate aiming
sleeve for the stabilization
screw when inserting the
stabilization screw.
