Loudness correction
• Hold down the BD/LD button (14) for a while to enable or disable loudness correction.
• The display (7) will show a message according to your selection.

At low volumes, the human ear does not perceive very low or very high sounds well. An increase in the
frequency range for low volume (loudness correction) counteracts this effect and the music playback
sounds more natural.
Loudness correction can be toggled on/off by holding down the RDM/BD/LD button (35) on the remote
control for a while.

Selecting the playback source

• Press the MODE button (9) repeatedly in order to switch between the individual playback sources.
• The playback sources are presented in the following order: Radio > CD/DVD > USB > SD/MMC > AUX

If no CD, USB flash drive or SD/MMC card is inserted, these sources are skipped during selection.
Inserting a CD/DVD, USB flash drive or SD/MMC card will automatically activate the medium.
Inserting a CD/DVD
• Press the button (12) to open the front control panel. Insert the CD/DVD into the CD/DVD slot (25).

Always insert the CD with the printed side up.
Ejecting a CD/DVD
• Press the button (12) to open the front control panel.
• Press the EJECT
• Tilt up the front control panel and close it.
