Product Introduction

Intended Use

MR60/MR62 multifunction electrode pads are pre-gelled, self adhesive
electrodes intended for ECG monitoring, noninvasive pacing, automated ex-
ternal defibrillation, manual defibrillation and synchronized cardioversion for
adult patients.
This product must only be used by trained clinical professionals and with
Mindray-specified defibrillator/monitor. The operator shall be liable for
understanding this instructions for use or consulting with us to confirm the
compatibility of this product and the defibrillator/monitor. Otherwise, product
performance may be compromised or personal injury may occur.
Warnings
ˆ Do not crush, bend or fold the pads, or place them under heavy objects.
ˆ Check expiration date on package. Do not use if beyond the expiration
date.
ˆ Check pads package for integrity before use. Remove from use if there is
sign of damage.
ˆ Do not open pads package until immediately prior to use.
ˆ Check the pads before use. Remove them from use in case of damage,
deterioration or visible contamination.
ˆ Do not use if gel is dry or separated from the metal backing.
ˆ Do not use additional conductive gel and paste on pads.
ˆ Do not apply pads over broken skin, if possible.
ˆ Keep pads clear of any other electrodes or metal parts in contact with the
patient during defibrillation.
ˆ Check patient skin at application site every 30 minutes of continuous pac-
ing. Replace pads after continuous pacing for 8 hours.
