Check to make sure the device is in safe operating
condition:

Proper position
Hold the unit
• with the left hand on the front handle,
• and the right hand at approximately hip level on
the operating handle,
• balanced in a comfortable way.
Setting the length of the unit

– Slacken the coupling nut (12).
– Pull the telescopic pole (20) to the desired length.
– Retighten the coupling nut (12) again.
Setting the angle of the cutting head

– Press in and hold the locking button (11).
– Tilt the cutting head (10) to the required position.
– Release the locking button (11) again.
Switching on and off
– Switching on: Press the switch lock (2) and
simultaneously press the On/Off switch (1).
– Switching off: Release the on-off switch (1).
Error/Fault
Device does not work.
If you can't fix the fault yourself, contact your nearest
vendor. Please be aware that any improper repairs
will also invalidate the warranty and additional costs
may be incurred.
