5. If used, grind the Icelock Expulsion Valve 552 dummy.
Refer to the Instructions for Use of the Icelock Expulsion Valve 552 for the assembly process.
6. For vacuum suspension, insert Bottom Seal (Figure 34).
7. Check socket fit for the following:
• The user can securely don the Direct Socket, with or without assistance.
• Proximal fit is good.
• No pistoning in the socket.
• Visible movement is minimal when pulling on prosthesis.
• Rotational stability is good.
• Vacuum suspension: Full movement is achieved without compromising the distal vacuum.

SUPPLEMENTARY PRODUCTS
Casting Liner
The liner can be reused if reprocessed according to method in IFU.
Because the casting liners are to be applied on a number of amputees, it is extremely important that each liner is
cleaned and disinfected after each and every use.
Cleaning and disinfecting the Iceross Casting Liner:
1. Turn the liner inside out and wipe the surface with alcohol impregnated wipes until completely wet. Allow to dry.
2. Turn the liner back to normal shape and repeat the procedure on the outer surface.
CAUTION:
• Only use ethanol or isopropanol solutions for manual cleaning of the liner.
• Only use a washing disinfector if the liner will be sterilized afterwards. If the liner will not be sterilized, only
clean and disinfect manually.
