Operation
Setting the temperature
WARNING
The appliance may not operate proper-
ly if the ambient temperature exceeds
or falls below the specifi ed temperature
range for a prolonged period. This can
then lead to an increase in temperature
inside the appliance.
Always ensure the prescribed ambi-

ent temperature is maintained (see
"Intended use" on page EN-4).
If you set a lower temperature, you will
need more refrigeration capacity. This
increases the energy consumption.
Using the buttons FRZ.TEMP. (15) and REF.
TEMP (19) you can set the temperature in the
freezer compartment and in the fridge com-
partment independently of one another .
• First select a medium setting.
• If, for example in summer, the ambient
temperature increases, select a lower set-
ting accordingly.

MODE
1. Press the FRZ.TEMP. button (15) once.
The signal (16) will flash.
2. Press the FRZ.TEMP. button enough
times until the desired temperature is dis-
played. Once the indicator stays illuminat-
ed, the temperature has been set.
The following temperatures are available:
The ideal temperature for the freezer is
−18 °C.
Fridge compartment
1. Press the REF.TEMP. button (19) once.
The signal (17) will flash.
2. Press the REF.TEMP. button enough
times until the temperature is displayed.
Once the indicator stays illuminated, the
temperature has been set.
The following temperatures are available:
The ideal temperature for the fridge is +6 °C.
Quick freezing

Select the setting QUICKFRZ. "Quick freez-
ing" (23) to pre-chill the freezer compartment
before storing food and to freeze fresh food.
1. Press the selection button MODE (25)
several times until the symbol
on the display. The signal (16) indicates
the temperature setting −24 °C for the
freezer.
