Before getting started

Set up and connect the appliance as

goes out. The appliance is switched off.

es after it is switched on, check that it

Setting the temperature
WARNING
Health hazard!
The appliance may not operate proper-
ly if exposed to low ambient tempera-
tures for extended periods of time. This
can then lead to an increase in temper-
ature in the fridge and freezer compart-
ment.
■ Always ensure the ambient tempera-
ture is kept within the specifi ed range
(see "Intended use" on page EN-4)
If you set a lower temperature, you will
require greater cooling power. This in-
creases energy consumption.
Setting the temperature in the
fridge
To check the refrigeration, you will need a re-
frigerator/freezer thermometer.
Place the refrigerator/freezer thermometer
•
in the fridge, on the glass shelf (7) above
the fruit/vegetable drawer (6); the ideal
temperature here is +6 °C.
•
in the freezer compartment; the ideal
storage temperature is –18 °C.
