Operation
Before getting started
•
Read the "Safety" chapter from page EN-4.
•
Set up and connect the appliance as
described in chapter "First use" from
page EN-23.
Switching the appliance on
and off
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
If the cooling unit has been transport-
ed horizontally, lubricant from the com-
pressor may get into the cooling circuit.
■ Allow the appliance to stand upright
for approx. 2 hours after transport
and before connecting.
Switching on
1. To switch the appliance on, insert the
mains plug into the socket.
The display (13) lights up for 1 second.
2. Press and hold the button
proximately 3 seconds.
The compressor starts to work, the refrig-
erant flows through the pipes and a quiet
humming sound can be heard.
If the appliance is making unusual
noises, check that it is stable and re-
move any objects that may be on top
of it.
Switching off
•
To switch the appliance off, pull the mains
plug out of the socket.
Alternatively, press and hold the button
(11) for approximately 3 seconds.
The indicator on the display (13) will show

Setting the temperature
CAUTION
Health hazard!
The appliance may not operate proper-
ly if exposed to low ambient tempera-
tures for extended periods of time. The
temperature may increase in the fridge
which may cause the foods stored with-
in to spoil more quickly.

Switching on for the first time
The standard temperature setting for when
the appliance is first switched on is +4 °C.

If the appliance is switched off, leave
the appliance door (2) open slightly to
prevent mould from forming.
If you set a lower temperature, you will
require greater refrigeration perfor-
mance. This increases energy con-
sumption.
